Residents

Supporting residents is our bread and butter. They are the reason we are here.

We understand the challenges that residents face on their own residential freehold estate or leasehold block.

Our definition of residents includes homeowners, tenants and (freehold) landlords. They all have a stake in properties that may be subject to a Service Charge Fee of some description.

The Challenges that Residents Face

  • A lack of understanding as to how the legal agreements relating to their site/block and the obligations relating to their property impact them.
  • Paying unreasonable Service Charges for services they may not receive.
  • Having no influence over the service they receive, or the Service Charges they pay.

What Can Residents First Do for Residents?

  • We offer a wide range of services including a free email support plan and other services at a very low cost. As a not-for-profit our focus in on helping others, not on making money.
  • They all involve us investing a bit of time (up front) in understanding the resident’s situation, followed by us preparing an action plan to help the resident achieve the outcome they desire.
  • We are committed to supporting residents throughout their journey.
